Experimental and computational studies on design optimization of turbomachinery have been conducted in order to improve performance and reliability. Database of complex three dimensional flow fields in turbomachinery obtained by tests and analyses are used in producing optimum solution for our customer. The recent topic is the study of multi-objective design optimization by using inverse design and CFD in which trade-off optimum solutions will be designed.
